    Access Form

ID:	13878Does anybody have instructions on creating a form which works in a similar way to the main form in the attached template (Microsoft Access Contacts Web Template).
What I want to achieve is to have a list of people from the 'Contact's' table show on the left.
When I click on the Contact, there details will appear on the right.
I have tried to adjust the template but as you cannot view the 'Design View' in Web templates it is quiet tricky and untidy working in 'Layout View' trying to get it right.
Thankyou for your help in advance.

You want to do this in a regular non-web database? The image shows a navigation form. There is a wizard for creating navigation form.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

    Thanks for you reply June7,
I must have not been very clear in my original post, If you look at the image, it shows the names down the left under the search button(I am not performing a search to get these records, they allready show as part of the template). When you click on one of these names the record is loaded into the form on the right.
I understand how to create a navigation form using te wizard, but I am unsure how to add the functionality mentioned above.
I do want to do this in a non web database. Sorry I am not able to attach the template as it is to big, you mention above (in your footer) that you can attach a database upto 2mb, when I try to attach my DB it tells me that the files size cannot exceed 500mb. but I am using the standard 'Contacts Web Database' provided by microsoft which can be downloaded from here:

Hope this makes sense and thanks again
