What a roller coaster this is. I guess a few people got together and now they are saying they have a new idea that will be introduced that might not involve all the tables relating and whatnot (although I don't see how that will happen with the description i was given). The only info I was given for an example was that there are three levels: Products, Blocks, and Cells. Products are made up of a mix of Blocks and Cells, and Blocks could either be their own entity, or contain cells.

Product 1 could have Blocks 1 and 2, but Block 1 might just be its own thing whereas Block 2 might have Cells 1 and 2. A cell can be in multiple blocks, and a block can be in multiple Products, so pretty much what was concluded before, but on a smaller scale? I'm not 100% sure, once we get a meeting together I will know more. Sorry!

    Sample

Here's a very generic sample. We'd like to have a query output with the format in the .png attached. (Show blanks if record is blank such as Product D has blanks for Blocks and Cells. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this would be done using left outer joins and multiple queries. Thank you
