Show a sum value in a query

    Hi guys,

I have the following query: access_view.zip (see attachment). Problem I have is that i do not only want to show divisie, afdeling, personeelsnummer, naam etc... but i also want to show the number of people within the "afdeling". If if i put a count criteria in the total row access will only show me the amount of afdeling within division... Does anybody have input on how i can solve this?

    Thanks!

    Dear regards, Marc

Have you considered building a report using Grouping & Sorting features with aggregate calcs in group header/footer sections? A report allows display of detail records as well as summary calcs.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
