    ACCESS 2010 multi-user access

    Hi

I have developed a simple database in version 2010 with few Forms using VB script. The main Form contains few navigational buttons to call for changes on subforms located in the center of mainform. I have successfully split the database and distributed Front-end copies in a shared drive. However, I am still having multi-users access issue.

If anyone could help out it would be greatly appreciated.

The Backend should be in a shared drive. Each user should have a copy of the Frontend on their own machine which should be linked to the single Backend.

yes, the backend is also located in the shared drive and those users also have the same access rights to the folders.
To be exact, the main Form seem to be okay with distorted layout but the subForm's area is blank.

The subForms being called are displayed in datasheetview and I am not sure if the issue is that the subform is maintaining connection to the tables.

Does each user have a copy of the frontend on their own machine?

Well the first thing to try, is setting it up properly, with each user having a copy of the frontend.

Cross-posting on different forums without notification is not a good idea.

I use an .mde format (on the front end) Try changing the format just by changing the front end from .accdb or .mdb to .mde

I also use one front end on a citrix server that everyone uses so that shouldn't be a problem.
