Can you upload you database for inspection?
EDIT: Sorry forgot you have a 64 bit database.
Dale
Yes... it is a 32 bit version and I would be happ to upload it... just got to figure out how
Right click on the database and select send to, click zip.
At the bottom of the thread where you send a reply, select "GO Advanced"
Select Attachments (Paper clip) icon.
Select "Add Files". Use Browse to find your zipped file.
Click "UpLoad"
After the file has uploaded select the file and click "Inset Inline"

Thanks Dale... Allyn
I think I fixed it.
First, I removed all of the relationships.
You have everything in 1 table.
This is not correct but it will work for you.
I changed the data types for the top 3 combo boxes to Text from number.
If you have questions or want to fix your tables let me know.
BTW I like some of your music.

Dale... thanks for all the extra effort, but it still does not return any values when i run the query. It all seemed so simple in the video. Maybe the problem lies with my computer settings? I think that you have gone the extra mile - please don't feel the need to work on this any further. I really appreciate you willingness o work with me.
BTW - this db is for our parish's chancel choir.
It worked well for me.
I typed in part of a song, part of a composer and part of type.
It returned several records.
Only the first 3 work, none of the others. I never worked on them.
Are the first 3 working?
EDIT: We ain't done till it works.
Dale
Dale... nothing is working. I'm going to rebuild it from scraatch and add the lookup tables one at a time and check to see if they work. That's the only thing I can think of at this time... Allyn
I am working on it now.
For some reason it will only work with 2 tables.
Song and any other table.
I have completely rewritten this database.
I will continue to keep working on it.
Dale
OK, I think we got it.
All the searches work except for 2 tables.
They do not have anything in the song table to search so they will not allow you to show anything for them.
I have removed the 2 tables from the search until you put something in the song table for them.
I made a simple report for you also. Just to show you how if you need to know.

Let us know how it works out.
Dale
Thanks Dale! I think that this is going to work out well. I will add some data to the empty tables and give it a thorough test run. I'll let you know the results.
Thans again!
Your are welcome.
Hope it works for you.
Dale
Success! Thanks again Dale. I owe you a good beer... at least!
Allyn
It was my pleasure.
Happy to here we got it working.
