Question How to set up a form where multiple users can only add data to a form?

    Hi,
I am new to Access (2010), but was able to create a small database and a Form to enter data.
I want to publish this form on multiple networked computers, such that any user can open the form, and create and save an entry which I in turn can view at a later time.

I am trying to create a pest sighting database. So every employee can - from any computer on the network - open the form, enter the information, and save it to the database. However, I do not want employees to be able to look at already entered data, and/or modify previously entered data.

    How do I do this?

Check out the Data Entry property of the form.

    Paul,
Thank you for your reply. How do I check the Data Entry property?

It's a property of the form.

    Paul,

I think I figured it out, I set the properties so nobody can see other entries or modify entries in the form.
So how do I get a link to the form on (the desktop of) every computer such that they can only get to the form but not the database?

You split the application. Search here or here's one of a gazillion links:
