    How to make drawing

    Hi,

I am very new to access. I have tried to create form for my user to fill in all information they work each day and possible to update in to access database. But my users also want to be able to draw a picture like how the structure of things they have made based on each record. How can i have a place in userform to enable my users to draw such picture? I also want it to be saved together with the record they made and sometimes possible to come back and do revision of the drawing.

Please help.. Thank you very much.

Access doesn't have built-in drawing tools.

Use drawing software to create image file then options:

    1. save in a hyperlink field the path to image file, hyperlink opens file in drawing software for editing

    2. save the created image in attachment field, open image from attachment field in drawing software and edited file saves back to attachment field

Never tried any of this but only possibility I see.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
