Sorry, but have never encountered a thread that showed so much difficulty with simple calculation.
Don't care about data, it is db structure that is the issue. If you want to delete data and provide empty db that will be only way I can help at this point.

give me until tomorrow...I am creating same DB with just this info in it and I will post it to here ...it will have just minium of some things in it that I can get away with showing to you..it might be later this afternoon by the time I have this done but wont be able to try probably until I get back in the morning...

"Query1" has a calculation that is not stored in the table. As June said, calculated values should not be stored in the table since it can be calculated at any time.
"Query2" has a calculation that is stored in the table.
Hopefully this will show you what your query should look like.

I am trying to attach DB but even having errors on that too...UGHHH this is just not my day!!
ok now before I go further I created an Info Table that has a few of the hoses, and a MasterHose list where I want to be able to see all the orders go in and the quantity..but I am not seeing in the QRY where i can put in the Expression ...can i just send to you as is and see if you can see it?

I am still willing to look at file. Did you run Compact & Repair, zip it? Up to 2mb zip allowed.
