    Database Read Only

    Hi,

    I have a split database.
The actual database is in a shared folder on a network drive.
Each user has their own interface and access the database and write to it.
    Everything is in Access 2003.

We have a new user who is on Version 2010 and for some reason as they connect to the database through their interface, they get exclusive access opening the database and no other user can write to the database.

Any ideas how to fix this?

    Thanks

Each FrontEnd has its own default on how to open the BackEnd. Have you checked this feature in the ac2010 machine?

I wonder if this machine has complete permissions needed.
