It is either in a macro named autoexec or the option has been set in Tools/Startup.

thank you that worked swimmingly! Any chance you can tell me why the Switchboard Manager I set up won't automatically create the Form I want? It works on other databases I have but not on this particular one....

Sorry, I've never liked or used the built-in switchboard. I just build forms that do what I want.
