the value that the user enter (how to use it in a query)?

hello guys,
I have a form that contains of a field of (list type), I want the value of the list based on a query, this query is based on a value that entered by the user in another field in the same form. Can you tell me how can i do this?

Let me get this straight you want to use the data typed in a particular field in a form as a criteria to a certain field on a query.

say my I have a query called Query1 in the Query a Field1X
I have a Form Form1 in that Form I have a Field called Field1

now here is what you can do open the query
in the criteria of Field1X type: Form!Form1!Field1
now when ever you open the query when your Form1 is open the data in the Field1 in your from will be used as a criteria for the Field1X in your query.
