    Access Database

We currently have a query database of which we access via Citrix to our hosted servers. We need to know if this is possible if the database is placed in a central folder we need to give access to four users to be able to amend, add and read it. We also need to be able to just give another seven users read only access only. Does anyone know if this is possible.

Access doesn't make securing data easy.

The read only might be accomplished two ways (maybe in combination).

    1. Set folder permissions in Windows on the central server.

    2. Use code in Access to manage what is available to each user (enable/disable buttons).
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
