From your database you sent back I imported the necessary Tables/Queries to run the Form. Can choose a Make from the 'Make' cbo, but cannot choose a Model from the 'Model' cbo...? https://www.box.com/s/suk9iazbggmkdsoljp32

ok I'll take a look..
Ok.. looks like you joined in the makes models table in the forms data. Remove that table and add back in the model from the vehicle table and you should be fine.
I was able to do that. As a course of action you use the combo box to make the bridge on a foreign key field instead of a direct link. So Vehicle table should be by itself and your combo boxes will pull in the information.
so recap..
open your form in design mode. go to the data query. Remove the table Makes model, then add in the model from vehicle to the query. Save the form and retry.
hope this helps
Having no luck! Also, what you did for me with the MakesModeel SubForm whereby when I pull down a particular Make the Make's Models comes up in a subform. Well, I'm trying to replicate that form & have all of the unsold vehicles come up according to the selected Make, but I'm having no luck. I really appreciate your help, but this is so damn frustration!!! Might you send me back the correct form like before?
I'm getting blank in the model dropdown
Ok when I get back to my computer I'll button up the form and put in here for you
DealershipsLocationrs_fix2.accdb
ok.. here is the new form with the fixes. I had to fix both make, model and sales rep and location combo boxes. If you require different data in those boxes this should give you an example of how to make those changes.
I hope this helps..
alcapps, I truly need to thank you for helping me out with the 'Make' & 'Model' be cascading combo boxes. I don't want to sound unappreciated here because as I've written many times how I dearly think ALL of you people here are just GREAT! After working at it for 3-mounths I think that I finally succeeded! Let's face it, in todays world where do you find people helping others without $. That's why I admire so many here. Not to belabor here, but I have so many ideas I can do with my varies databases, except (& it's not a cop-out) I just really struggle with VBA Coding, etc. In the first "Fixed" database you did for me, when I copied & used the Form in my database it worked great. However, since I tried creating another Form having the "Make" be a selective choice & somehow I fouled up the first/fixed form. So now I'm back tracking & trying to see what you did. I still have the original database you sent back to me. Let me let you go; thanks again -- REALLY!!!!
