your previous reference is useless. because when you apply criteria and select some record according to criteria then the serial number becomes wrong in this method for query. i need any solution where serial number will be added in selective records. Can you help me?

Look at example "Ranking with a temporary table" in http://allenbrowne.com/ranking.html
The only other way I know of is RunningSum in report.
