Unable to embed images on a form.

I have developed a database which catalogues my music collection. As part of this database I created a form which records various album details, including the album cover. I wanted to embed a bitmap image of the cover on the form (yes, I know it makes for a huge database, but space is not currently an issue), so I created an OLE object to display the image, and ensured that all images were in .BMP format. Up to now this has been working fine with no issues.

I've just upgraded Photoshop from 7 to CS6. I suddenly find that I can no longer embed an image in my form. That is, when I try to drag the required image onto the form, or add it using the menus, instead of the full 250px by 250px image, I get a small thumbnail and the filename. Records that already exist seem to be unaffected. I don't want to revert to PS7, so what else can I do to get this working again?

    Database sample

OK it took a while but here is the database. The table in question is the Recordings table (and associated form).

You posted an mdb file but is your db actually an accdb version?

I have never use the OLE Object datatype and control. Access 2007 introduced ControlSource property to Image control. That's what I use. But I guess drag & drop wouldn't work then.

I tested drag & drop of a bmp file into the OLE field and it displays properly. I guess the issue is CS6 (what is CS?).
