Data in subform records repeating

Hello, I need help, I've been working on this for days and haven't figured it out. In the main form for each of my clients, I wanted to be able to track each time I contacted them or they contacted me. So, I created a new table and subform specifically for this. Then I put the subform into the main form. The problem is: say, I input data into the subform for Client A... the same input shows up for all my clients. How do I make the subform be specific to each client, and not repeat for every client?

Is the Main Form and Subform linked with a common Field, such as a ClientID Field, in the Subform's 'Link Master Field/Link Child Fields' Property?

It almost sounds as if the Fields in the Subform are not Bound to Fields in the underlying Table.

If, for ClientA, you enter

"ClientA is a Dweeb!"

and for ClientB you enter

"ClientB is cool!"

when you move to ClientC do you see

"ClientA is a Dweeb!"
"ClientB is cool!"

or simply

"ClientB is cool!?"

Linq... thank you! Your answer made me think about linking differently, my change in perspective allowed me to solve my problem, so thank you so much!! Another question for you... is there a way to change records from ascending to descending by date? And also to put the new record creator at the top instead of the bottom?
