    Not equal sign in query

    Hi,

I am trying to run a query using "<> L" in the criteria line. In this field there are L values. I am trying to get all values that do not have L. But, when i enter <> L and run the query I am getting no values. I know there are 200 L values. When I enter L in this field (not using <>L) it works. This is a text field.

    Thanks,

I tried <> "L" and no rows were returned.
