Update patches for application

Is there anyway to create update patches for the access application? If the users are going to use the application for entering data, how can I just provide them update patches for th application if I make some changes in application in future, is it possible in access? I dont want them to change the application by themselves, so I can just make some updates and provide them, without causing any disruption in their datas.

Is this a split design? If so, just replace the front end. If not, I don't know any way to 'patch' the design.

ok, so if I am not giving the application to users on a shared drive, and I am providing application separately to each user, I can then provide the users both front end and back ends, and when I need to update the form designs, I just have to send them an updated front end to save on the previous front end version, is that what yoy meant?

Yes, the frontend would be replaced and the backend data would be unchanged. Unless you make changes to the data structure, that is another issue.
