I tried to create a new form after June7's changes and creating new records in my form works perfectly now. I will create a new thread for my Box Content search field. I can't thank you enough June7 for your help. I really appreciate it.

I am confused why you needed to change the master field of the subform to ID. It was already set to the ID of Boxes.
The property said 'Boxes.ID', I changed it to just 'ID' after fixing the query.

I took out box contents from the DataEntry query and created a new query called DataEntryContents.
This is in line with my suggestions. Note that it is not necessary to have a saved Access query object as the RecordSource. An sql statement can be built right in the RecordSource.

Re Edits 1 and 2: You are correct about the SearchContents.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
