    Access 2007 error

Hi running some queries, I get the following error message:

I wonder if there is a query to resolve the problem so that if I open my IDE does not give me this error.

I have never encountered that message when running queries. It is normal to happen when first setting Navigation pane to display as 'Tables and Related Views'. Do you have the navigation pane display set to that option?

I'd lean toward a corruption issue rather than what it says in a literal sense, June. Obviously it has nothing to do with query exec.

I also wonder if it has anything to do with options, default or not, that are set in the actual file?? June, what do you think of that suspicion?

@help - totally new to me. Corruption does sound possible.

@sberla - If Compact & Repair does not fix try importing everything into a new db.

I LOVE this type of guidance. if all else literally fails, do this. right June?

personally, I think it's sad that this simple process is a last resort. but lest ye not forget, it has saved many souls from redundancy and unnecessary re-work!

I don't know of any option settings that could cause this. If the issue persists after import then indication is something other than corruption is going on.

I also follow: "When in doubt, power out."
