calculat text box and insert to field

hii to all
i have 1 table name "table1"
and i have in this table 4 fields
1) id
2)pay
3) tax
4) total

the id is praimery
i have form
in this form i have 3 text box "pay" "tax" "total"
i want to insert some nomber to pay and nomber to tax and make some buton to make calculat of the 2 text box and it will show me the resoult in the total and insert them to the fields can some one help me pleas

Is form bound to the table? Are pay and tax bound to the fields? Total should not be saved to table. This value can be calculated whenever needed.

Do what - bind forms, bind controls, build expressions that calculate data? This is all basic Access functionality. Any introductory reference or tutorial will have guidelines as well as Access Help.
