The switchboard can be automatically opended by setting it as the default form in the project properties or by an autoexec macro. For the project setting, click File>Options>Current Database, set Display Form.

Why do you need user name on form? Several ways this can be accomplished.

Hi Thank you for that, I try the switchboard option and it really work, I need names appear on the form as per the requirements needed by my company. Actually on the switchboard I created username and log-in and when you hit the log-in botton it will direct you directly to the form, however I want the form to show the name provided on the switchboard during the log-in stage. Do you have any Idea how to do it.

    Thanks

One way: Never close the switchboard form. All other forms can have an unbound textbox that refers to the textbox on switchboard in ControlSource:

    =Forms!Switchboard!textboxname
