A Challenging Question about exporting to other documents.

    Good Afternoon,

I have an old database that a friend wanted to update. Due to the design, I will not be able to update it because someone was good at hiding there code.

This database was able to do something that is very effective that I wanted to know if I can setup for other documents. it had the ability to use information in the database to run a report that would fill in forms used in lotus viewer and PDF readers. Most of these forms are government documents that I am not allowed to just rebuild from scratch inside the report viewer. On the old database, you hit the button and the code would auto fill in a form (normally filled in in IBM lotus forms viewer) from the information in the database. This was all done with VBA code.

Now I have no problem writing the code using send keys but I havnt learned how to use send keys in VBA to fill in forms in another application. Also, I would need the application to be able to either save or print the information as needed as well.

I have a few thought's about this on how to go about it but I need some more generalized information before moving on to just doing it. Does anyone in this computer even attempted to accomplish something along these grounds?

    Thanks ahead of time,

    TSgt Maxwell,

read a bit more. A JPG in the background of a report will not work if anyone attempts that route. I would need to be able to digitally sign the form once it was pulled up.
