    Forms from multiple tables

Hi. I am new here, so please forgive me if my first few posts come into the dumb category...
Using Access 2007 with a database containing 3 tables.
The main database has 5000 records.
THE PROBLEM I have is that if I design any type of form where I display fields from more than 1 table, I get duplicated records displaying.
For instance, if I include just one field from another table, the count of items jumps to 10,000.
I have worked many hours trying to fix this, before asking for help!
    Thanks.

Sorry... I found that the second table congtained multiple records with the same key...
    I feel really stupid...
