I am having a problem with Access 2007. It will not launch when run it from the Start Programs menu. I get the error

'Access failed to start correctly last time. Starting Access in safe mode will help you correct or isolate a start up problem in order to successfully start the program. Do you want to start Access in safe mode?'.

Whether I take the Yes or No option, the next time I start Access, the Office Access 2007 appears on the screen but the program does not start. It does not appear in Windows Task Manager Applications window.

If I try to open an Access database by double-clicking on it I get the message 'Windows cannot find (database path). Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.'

I have had Access re-installed on the PC but this has not resolved the problem.

I have seen several articles that suggest removing the registry entry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\A ccess\Resilliency . This has also not worked.



Any suggestions would be appreciated.
