    Since it is only the one field [wind_subscription_qty] that is giving you trouble I would eliminate the other fields being selected and concentrate on just that one field for now. I would try defining the field as either Single, Double or Currency in this test.

    That's pretty much what I've been doing: deleting all the records in the table, changing the data type of the wind_subscription_qty field, running the append query, looking at the table, seeing 7.00 and 3.00, deleting all the records, changing the data type, running the query, looking at the results, deleting all the records ,...

    I'm done for today. I'll go back to banging my head against the wall on Monday.
