    Query Parameters for Search Form

    Hi,

I have a db with a search form. I choose parameters from a dropdown and run the query, but it doesn't filter the data. Only the To and From Date parameters work, not the other fields. User should be able to choose paramaters for some or all fields.

I have attached a sample as it's much easier to show what the problem is than to explain it.

Can someone tell me how to get my search form to work properly?

    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Al

ps Once query runs properly, I need to create a report based on the query.

In your criteria for the payee, you are looking for the data from the checkNo field. Suggest you change this to Payee field. I'm sure this was a copy and paste oversight.

Ok. found it. In your query, you have the category criteria looking for a field named "category" in your search form. The name of that field is Combo26. You will either need to change your criteria or the field name in the form.

No problem. It is a common issue even among experienced users. It is always nice to have a second set of eyes help you find them. Glad that you solved it.
