    Database View

I have an access database (it was kindly given to me by a friend, already set up and supposedly ready to use!) - When I open the database, all I can see are the tables and relationships - I seem unable to view it as the 'nice' database she has it set up like on hers ... any ideas? I'd be really grateful!!! In simple terms too please - no jargon!!!

    Welcome to the forum.

For all databases, there is usually a user interface which provides a way for users to interact with the data stored in the tables. In Access, forms are used to build the user interface. So, did your friend create any forms in the database? If not, it sounds like your friend only gave you the table structure (tables and relationships) and has left it up to you to create the forms.
