    Reports not printing organization logo

    Access 2016, Windows 11

Have an application built for a nonprofit that previews reports, giving user the option to print directly or save to PDF (or both).

There are some machines - including a desktop and my own personal laptop - where the organization logo (an embedded PNG) in these reports displays and prints as desired. But there are at least two laptops using this application where the logo neither displays nor prints.

Since the application works without any other issues on these two laptops, my suspicion is that there may be something either with the machine hardware or the user account settings on these problem machines that prevents the logo from being displayed.

Any suggestions for where to look?

Where is the photo located? If it's on a network share that some users do not have permissions to read then the request for the file would be denied by the OS and nothing would print.

When placing an image in a report or form, there are three options for the "Picture Type" property: Embedded, Linked, or Shared.

I would expect something like this behavior if Linked or Shared were chosen. However, all of the forms & reports using this logo have Picture Type set to "Embedded", which should mean that the image is incorporated into the form or report itself, so the original location is irrelevant. This is borne out by the fact that I can run the application on my personal laptop either from home - completely disconnected from the office, or at the office with no change in behavior.

The application itself was developed on yet another machine where the original image was local to that machine. Both my laptop and all other machines where the image displays correctly have no connection whatsoever to the development machine when they run the application. So network permissions don't seem to be the issue...

Not that I will know the solution if you answer these questions, but it might help someone else.
Are they all pc's or are all or some Macs? Are they all running the same version of Windows and the same version of Office (including bitness)? There was a time when png's didn't play well in Access. You might try jpg or bitmap or wmf instead.

They're all PCs (to my knowledge, Access is not included in Mac versions of Office). All are running Windows 11 Pro 64bit, and have Office 2016 Professional Plus 32bit installed.

Converting the image to JPG did not solve the issue.

What did solve it was to change the Size Mode property of the Image control from Zoom to Stretch. The logo shows up now on PCs where it did not before.
