Question Data retension on a form?

I have a form that has many combo boxes from different lookup tables. When I fill out the form and close it, the next time I open the form all the previous data is gone and the form is set back to blank. How can I get the data I chose from the combo boxes to remain in the form after I close and reopen the form?

If it helps, forms do not contain data, tables do. Forms *only* display data.

You know, I guess I should have known that. Thanks. I'll try to accomplish what I'm going after in a report. Im going to mark this solved but FYI, I'm going over to the report forum to ask "Archive Reports".
