    1) I've messed up a setting wherein whenever there is a new LAST NAME, it generates a blank page with JUST that LAST NAME and no records. The following page will contain the records and the rest of the persons with that same LAST NAME as well as their FIRST NAME. (Photos attached). It's one of those KEEP TOGETHER/GROW-SHRINK buttons or what?

    2) I added a TEXT BOX before my COUNT to add up the number of records for each participant. It's accompanied by a "unbound" box. I can't get rid of it, even though I have shrunk it and changed the font, etc. to 2. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

Why have separate headers for first and last names? Have a single header on concatenated fields.

Could provide db for analysis. Follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

ID:	50347BONUS INFORMATION: I only get a page with JUST THE LAST NAME if there is only one FIRST NAME (or one person) associated with that LAST NAME. If I have more than one person with that LAST NAME, each person shows up on their own page, which is what I want.

    Thanks...........

Maybe it's better if you attach a sample file.

You have the default view for the report set to Report, how does it look in Print Preview?
