    Data Conflict file copy saved

We have a database setup with a front end that is on each users computer with a single backend on a network drive location. This has worked great for 6 years, now all of a sudden we are getting what looks like backup copies saved with a description that says data conflict. Has anyone dealt with this before, it is causing inconsistent data for users. I am in contact with our IT Infrastructure team to see if anything has changed on the network drive but this is the first time in 20 years I have seen this on access.

As long as 2 users are not editing the same record, you should not get conflict.
and as long as the Editing form does not have 2 sections editing the same record (like a master form, & subform both on the same table/record)

    may not be related but:
Msoft DID give an update a while back that caused corruption. Removing that 1 update fixed it.
another fix was a registration field change. google these. (its been a while)
