Old DB doesn't open on new computer with Win 11, "connection error with server OLE or ActiveX"

    Hi!
So I have multiple versions of the same DB and all of them open up with the same exact error, no matter which Access version (2003 or 365) I use, so it's not a corrupt file issue.
This computer is brand new, but the database opens on another Win 11 computer with no problems. Just not on this one.

    What I tried so far:
    1) Changing all the field names and forms/objects/reports names to Latin alphabet, no spaces, no special characters just to see if something changes - it didn't help.
    2) Removed all the images from reports (I read that OLE might get triggered cause the new Paint doesn't work with bitmap the way it used to, or smth like that) - it didn't help. I was even gonna add registry keys with bitmap, but didn't go that far cause I have no idea which folder to put them into and I don't wanna mess with the Registry Editor.
    3) Exported everything to the new DB - same error
    4) Reinstalled Microsoft Office 2003 from the exact setup file I used on all the other computers
    5) Installed AccessDatabaseEngine_X64 - didn't do anything
    6) Checked Tool > References - nothing is MISSING

I uploaded one of the versions of this DB (that's not the one I was editing, so it's exactly the way it normally is and opens normally on all the computers except this one).
Here's the link (couldn't upload here due to error) - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P4C...usp=share_link

Please help out. I'm at a loss.

I just downloaded it. I'll be posting what I find. So far, I have one missing reference to Microsoft Calendar Control 11

    Check 2
Form names with symbols and special characters.

    Check 3
Procedure names with symbols and special characters. A lot of them.

Start fixing that. Also, you have tables hidden and other stuff. I don't recommend anyone opening this file as it may very well be a virus if not properly sanitized before posting here.

    Just use 32bit Access?

Changing the names of forms, queries, reports, tables (+ field names in tables) didn't help, I've already tried that on a different file.

At the very least, try decompiling then recompiling then compact/repair.
I might also try opening a brand new db and importing everything into it and trying that. If it still errs after that, then I'd probably start again and add all of a group (e.g. reports). If it opens, it's likely not a report. The goal would be to find the offending object type and actual object. The message suggests that something with an on load event is the issue, so maybe a corrupted form or report.

This db is not a multi-language db or one that multiple users are opening the same front end file?

Hold the [SHIFT] key down to open the database without the database launching the display form.
Manually open your forms until you hit the one that is throwing the error.
Craete a new form to replace the form that is failing.
Delete the old form that was not working.
