Cascading combo boxes producing errors after reopening

Hi all,


Bit of an Access noob. i made cascading combo boxes that worked fine by setting the criteria to the previous box.
however when i save, quit, and reopen, i get ‘enter parameter value’ errors in the second box. I have rebuilt it 3x and each time i get the same problem. Ideas?

It would be easiest if you posted the dB.

But maybe you could answer a couple of questions?

What is the first combo box name?
What is the SQL of the second combo box row source?

probably because at that point the first box isn't populated

There are a number of ways to create cascading combo boxes, all depends on which one you have used so agree with Steve, provide a cut down copy of your db to demonstrate the issue - make sure you compact and then zip before posting. Otherwise provide the vba and sql code plus confirm what you have set against the rowsource property of the 2nd combo
