Lock report width & details hight?

    I'm creating a report "card' in the size of A6 (105 x 148 mm)

I've set the page setup to A4 , that way it will fit 4 cards on each page.

I've set the "report" width to 14.8cm, and the "details' hight to 10.5cm, on the "Property Sheet", to create the "white background' to be correct size.

Now, if I accidently place any objects over the line, it will automatically expand the size of the report card to fit the object.

Is there anyway to prevent this?

No. Just have to move objects and resize report.

if you want a visual aid in design view you can put in box to the size required with top/left at 0,0 and color the border say red and set its visible property to no.

I use the built in visual aid - rulers are at the top and bottom. If you know the report margin width and the paper size it's not that hard to stay in the boundaries.

@Micron no, it's not hard, but it's irritating if you slip and must undo it..
