Refresh a Query

I have a Query in Access called "Query1".



Here it is:



As you can see, the 2nd field is an expression: [FieldName] + "_" + SystemDate()

This whole query needs refreshing each time when a user selects a diffferent date in my form.
How do I programmatically refresh this query?

when you open the query, it is refreshed.
change the date on form, open query.
or
with query open, click the REFRESH ALL button on the toolbar

I tried changing the date on the form, opened the query and it still had old data in it.
However, clicking the refresh button did the trick, but it requires manual intervention.
