Need foreign key data to display as text, not numerals

I exported data from Access to Excel. One of the Excel columns is for listing the names of Publishers. However, the publisher column is set up as a foreign key so consequently this column displays the data for that field numerically, instead of text. Is it possible to list those exported publishers as text, and still have the publisher connected to the correct book title and how do I do that?

Add the related table to the query so you can return the text value.

Did you change the field returned by the query to Publisher from that table instead of the fk field from the books table?
