Attachment Image Preview

So I have a small asset listing database. I am trying to keep all of my images the same orientation of the items for sale using the attachments preview. However, even if the images are rotated and saved before adding to the database some of them still show in a landscape style orientation. Anyway to keep them all the same?

Just rotating with app like MS Photos doesn't really change the image. Have to use something like Paint to actually modify image. At least it made a difference for me.
