Just Like to say hello as new to this Forum and Access.

Id be grateful for some help as I'm not sure of what I am looking to do is called.

I have created a access 2016 form with tabs across the top.

Lets call Tab 1 "Customer, Tab 2 "Customer Products".

Now what I'm looking to do is when I move through each record on the Tab 1, I want tab 2 to reflect which record I am in Tab 1.

So when I move through a record in tab 1, I want tab two to change with it.

Can Someone please advise me what this is called..

    Kind Regards

Assuming you have a sub form to display the customer products, then you would need to set the Master / Child properties in the sub form container control.
To do that click the outside edge of the control that houses your sub form and select properties.

You should now be able to select the CustomerID or AcctNo or whatever field identifies the customer uniquely as the master record, and the matching foreign key in the products table as the child record.

    Hi,

you will have to excuse my ignorance, I have tried what you said but I cant seem to get it to work.

Would you be able to give me a explanation of where I can find this option Point by point,

    Kind Regards

Have a look at the tables and forms (Customer Details) in the attached - it should give an idea of how to link things together.
