    Updateable subform

I created a Gmail address “PerfacDibi@gmail.com” for this purpose only. You login at WWW.GMAIL.COM the password is “Hans1263”. There should only be two invitations to see or download my database from DropBox, the front end and back end. All Images are outside Access so this demo not much bigger than 250meg.

In my database you wil find form f02Customer and a subform f01RelativesubCus. You will also find f02Employee and subform f01RelativeSubEmp. Both subforms stores data in table t01RelativeSub. As you may see on the images, I fail to get the subform in f02Customer to be updateable, even though the one in f02Employee is updateable and works fine.

I added a zipped file of the same database to the same email address that seems to be 612 bytes.

Thank you. No need to go into gmail since 2 hours earlier I attached a zip. That may tell the story. I read the attachment you refer to maybe I am missing it but don't see something about my thread.

Zip of what? Attached where? I don't see it.

That 612 byte zip is a shortcut to YOUR C:\ drive.

I have a table let us say with 100 records. 10 Inventory Items, with 10 different dates where new prices were added.
How do I create a query that ends up with 10 records, one for each inventory item at the latest date.
Lets say the fields in price table t01Price are "PriceID", "PriceDate", "InvetoryDescr","Price".
The query have to be updateable.

Inventory? Price? What does that have to do with this thread? I think you're getting confused with 3 threads running at once.

Yes a different thread. Just trying my luck, asking wherever I can. I've used so much time on this issue, it's not good. It is 06H00 where I am, no sleep.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
