How to get rid of drop down arrows in subform or Subreport

    Hi Guys,

I was just wondering how do I get rid of small drop down arrows(used for sorting order and other filters) in Subform or Subreports title bar. Also I would like to get rid of the Side grey bar, if possible.

    Awaiting for your help.

    Thanks and Regards

to get rid of the side grey bar (called record selectors), use a continuous form rather than a data sheet (will also get rid of your dropdown arrows as well). You can format the form to look like a datasheet, but won't have the datasheet functionality of resizing/moving/hiding columns, at least not without some pretty fancy coding

    Dear Ridders52,

Thanks for the help and suggestion. Changed the property of the form to NO (Shortcut), as was unable to field the shortcut property for the object. I am using Office Access 2013.

    Thanks and Regards

When I said object, I was referring to the form/subforms themselves.
The setting is applied for the whole form

Individual form controls do not have a shortcut menu property
They do have a Shortcut Menu Bar property which is rather different
This allows you to specify which right click context menu should be shown for that control

Sorry I forgot to answer the point about the record selector bar - but others have since done so
