Info is sought on DAO with later versions of MS Access

I have several MSAccess databases for personal use, not networked, which originally were designed with Access 2003 and DAO. I converted them to .accdb format in Access 2007. There are no problems, but now I am thinking of updating to Access 2016, and wondered if I can keep on using and writing functions with DAO?
