loan database

Hi all, looking to improve a loan database.
I is quite complex already but there is still more needed. but cannot work out how to fix them. I would like to work with someone to help me fix this.
( job 1. break down loan periods, from day in to school periods (would say just a drop down box but cannot make it work).


job 2. make it more automated.)
and there will probably be more things as this is only the 1st year the system is being used.
