    Getting to the VBA code

In ms Access 2010 if you are examining a form and want to see the VBA code behind it, you select alt-F11.

If you are examining a subform and want to see the VBA code behind it what do you do?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Pick a Control in the subform that has an Event Procedure for it, Right-Click, Properties, Events, click in the input area for any event that is defined, then at right click the 3-dot ellipsis command button - you will be placed inside the procedure of that event - thus in the code for the subform.

I guess my concern was that on a Lenovo laptop that I am now using that when on a form, the shortcut, alt-F11 affects the brightness of the screen. I simply cannot use it to
get to the VBA code. There are other ways, of course.

Also, in a non_Lenovo computer what key shortcut allows one to get to the VBA code in a subform?

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

the code should be accessible from the ribbon. In 2007 it is Database Tools > Macro section > Visual Basic. Not sure what exactly will display for you, but all of the coded objects are visible on the left in the project window.

Thanks. I've always used Alt+F11. Didn't know of or forgot about Ctrl+G
Did you know that F10 on the db window will expose alpha shortcuts?
    F10 > a > v opens it also (in 2007 anyway).
