Access bug? enter parameter value

This has happened a lot in the past and I've worked around it. Usually by remaking a form or report. But I'm curious to find the cause of this issue if I can.

I copied over a report to re-use. I've kept the structure but changed the data completely. It keeps asking for a parameter value for things that were on the older version.

I've deleted everything on a copy of this form. there are no 'events' its a blank form. Also the information its asking for its not in the record source at all.



Is there anything else I can do to try and find why its asking me this? or is it a bug?

Do you have any controls on the report that could have a query or SELECT statement as their record source like a sub report or a combo or list box

Perhaps the report is still being sorted/grouped by a field that no longer exists?

The form/report is totally blank. I deleted everything just to test this. Ajax you are right, Thank you for that. sometimes you cant see the wood for the trees. Lesson learnt.
