Auto backup of files. Can this be set to be done in Access?

I recently had a computer glitch when updating some of my records in access. Had to reboot and the changes I had made were gone. Is the "refresh" setting what is supposed to save changes or is there another automatic backup option somewhere? Thank you.

Best thing to do is just take a daily back up of your database.

Also, a bound form will automatically try to save the data on it when you either move to a different record, move between form and subform, or close the form. If the glitch happened before one of those, the unsaved data could get lost.

Thank you all. Seems weird to me that something that seems so basic would not be readily available in Access w/o jumping through hoops!
