    Annual reminder database

OK, so we offer annual and monthly inspections on overhead cranes. Currently we operate out of Excel, but that is easy to miss something or a customer along the way of finding who and when is due for the month. Monthly inspections are easy to track as we only have 15 customers who are on a monthly schedule. But the yearly is way farther and more involved. Out of a total 250+ customers, reordering the lists in Excel may cause some customers to not appear on the top and they get missed. So, I am hoping that I can come up with a simple way to input the last yearly inspection, run a query towards the end of each month to gather a list of all the customers who are due in the moth and start contacting them for scheduling. The tracking of customer assets is not necessary in Access, we have a whole other program that we do the actual inspections on that tracks assets. I just need to track customer, contacts and inspection dates. Then to be able to compile a list once a month that tells me who's inspections are due. Is there an existing template that I can use and modify that will work or do I have to start from scratch and learn VBB to perform this action? I've spent every spare minute of my time over the last two days looking at countless sample databases and can't find the one that has this annual reminder function in it.

This is not hard to do. Did any of those templates contain enough of your requirements and do they permit design changes? All you need is a way to compare two dates in a query.
