Is there a way to derive date from pk id data?

Trying to find out when i addeded new contact based on id number or some hidden timestamp. I've added date field for new contacts.

    Thanks,

you would do it based on a timestamp field - which is simply a date/time field with a default set to now(). You don't have to show the field, so don't display it on a form or report if not required.

If you mean for existing records so that you can back fill data, you cannot. There is no hidden date/time data automatically associated with when you created or edited a record.
