Scroll bar keeps jumping to the top when I exit and return to page

My name is Eli and I am a first time user to this forum. I'm new to access and trying hard to learn it and understand it.
I use access for my business as I created a program to handle my invoices and work orders. It works for me for now.

My scroll bar continues to jump to the top whenever I switch from reports or exit and return. It's frustrating because I have to manually scroll
back down to the area I was working on previously.

How can I get the scroll bar to return or stay on the spot I placed it on?

Can anyone help?

This will happen when the form gets the focus again. You will have to add an event to the form that when it gets the focus you put the cursor on a particular control. I would need more details to help you further with this.

I'm not sure I'm following when you say focus.

What exactly are you doing? (1) form is open, you open a report, close it and come back to the form? (2) are you closing the form and reopening it?

to the area I was working on previously

What does this mean? Is it a continuous form? Is there one control that you were on before?

Hi,
What I have is a simple program to handle my work orders.
In the image is a mock example of how the work orders are laid out in my 'Workorders by Customer' form for that particular customer..
On the far left you will see the work order number.
On the far right you will see the scroll bar. If I scroll down to work order number 80 and click 'View/New Workorder' on the bottom right, a new form appears which shows me that work order.
Once I close the second form I opened to go back to the this form, the scroll bar automatically goes right back to the very top. It does not stay at work order number 80.
This is a headache because, I would have to constantly scroll back down to work order number 80 or any other number numerous time if I'm opening and closing other forms, thus taking up valuable time scrolling.
I'm trying to keep the scroll bar positioned and not move in the work order number I scroll to, when I open and close other forms.

This isn't happening for me. Is there any code or macros that happen after you click on the View/Add button? Somehow the subform is being requeried. Can you post your db, or a small sample of it?
