Export to Excel - get Repaired Records: Error

When exporting an Access query to Excel in versions 2010 and later, we are receiving the following error message: Repaired Records: Format from /xl/styles.xml part (Styles). I have Googled this message and it seems to be a common error that was fixed with a hotfix for the 2007 version. That being the case, I do not expect this is the solution for the 2010 - 2016 versions. This does not happen on every query, so I suspect there is something in the query itself that could be the issue. I have no idea what to look for.

I have another query that has a calculated field that presents in a text format when exported to Excel. Just changing the column format does not resolve the issue. We have to use the error message to convert to numbers. Any ideas how to export in the proper format?

Is the query a select query. If so, could the calculation be done in the query rather than a calculated field.

Not sure about the issue you have but to work around make the query a create table query then query from that table into excel?
